"What changed?" is one of the most expensive questions in knowledge work. Between contract versions, config files, article drafts, or two API responses that should be identical, the honest answer requires character-level comparison — which humans are famously bad at. This tool highlights every insertion, deletion, and change between two texts, instantly.
The diff is computed with a longest-common-subsequence approach — the same family of algorithm behind git diff. It finds the minimal set of edits that turns text A into text B, so a single moved paragraph reads as one move, not fifty spurious line changes. Whitespace differences can be surfaced or ignored; an invisible trailing space has broken more than one build, and more than one legal review has hinged on a single changed word in clause 14.
